Republicans: making everyone uncomfortable for no reason other than greed.
There is no reason for Government to fight for the wealthiest in the country. Republicans are incapable of doing the hard work, the heavy lifting that is protecting the vulnerable.
For centuries we know how the rich crush the poor. That’s why we left Europe. That’s why we have elective democracies.
Our government should represent the collective will of the people. We need to separate the corporate influence on politics. Republicans selling out to the oligarchs is horrible for the country.

Raising the minimum wage gives the entire economy a stimulus. Also, the best way to lower unemployment is to raise wages. Econ 101.
People need to get over this notion that an isolated company who has to raise wages would be hurt. This is the entire economy. Raising the minimum wage puts money back into circulation. The economy sputters when monetary policy is tight.

It’s smart to stay at the law firm until your loans are paid off.
